Is a Chemical Peel right for me?
Because we offer every level of intensity, almost everyone is a candidate for some form of chemical resurfacing. Light peels are safe for all skin types, while medium and deep Phenol Peels require a specific skin-type assessment (typically Fitzpatrick I-III) and a medical consultation. Phenol Peels are performed under the care of Dr. Cory Goldberg in accordance with the strictest safety standards. Your provider will analyze your skin type, skin history, and lifestyle to choose the peel that fits your downtime availability and aesthetic goals.
For light peels, you simply leave with a glow. For TCA and Phenol Peels, we utilize our FORM recovery suite of treatments. This includes numerous wellness and recovery options, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to feed your healing cells and red light stimulation to reduce redness.
Light peels show immediate brightness. Medium peels reveal new skin in 5–7 days. The deep Phenol Peel requires 10–14 days for the initial reveal, with final tightening results maturing over several months. While light peels are for maintenance, the results of a Deep Phenol Peel are long-lasting. Your skin will continue to age naturally, but the facial aging “clock” is turned back, often by years.
